About the Program
A week that changes what's possible.

The Natomas Chamber of Commerce and Natomas Unified School District partner each year to run the Youth Workforce Program - a five-day immersive experience giving incoming high school juniors and seniors a real head start in the workforce. Students spend the week in hands-on workshops covering business etiquette, resume building, financial literacy, interview skills, mental health awareness, and career exploration.

The week culminates in a full Job Fair and Interview Day on Friday, June 12, where local businesses can meet, interview, and hire the next generation of Natomas talent. Students arrive polished, prepared, and eager to work.

More ways to get involved: Beyond the hiring fair, local businesses can volunteer for mock interviews (June 11), join a career or trade pathways panel, or sponsor lunch for students and staff on any program day. Contact Lauren at director@natomaschamber.org to participate.
