“They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you make them feel.” That philosophy is exactly what makes CharQterie more than just a place to eat, it’s the journey, the experience.

CharQterie is a full service Mom and Pop restaurant with a unique concept. Instead of ordering a traditional meal, guests build their own personalized charcuterie boards, turning lunch into an interactive experience.
CharQterie also stands out for their efforts to be more community focused, and involved. They have a special program for high school students, where they get mentored, gain hands-on experience in customer service, and entrepreneurship. Lydia Belaski, the owner of CharQterie, believes the program equips students with lifelong skills, stating, “Not their forever job, but they will walk away from here with something useful they will take to their forever job.”

Their commitment to the community extends beyond their own business. An 86-year-old local woman designs their business cards, while another business hand-paints the rocks that adorn the restaurant’s patio. They also host countless community events, some for high school, and some for the City. CharQterie truly values building relationships, and leaving customers with an experience they’ll remember long after they’ve finished eating!
