Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area and there were no reported injuries.

Saturday, November 30th at 11:32 a.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area and there were no reported injuries.
Shooting Investigation – 2700 block of Oakmont Street
Saturday, November 30th at 6:26 p.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Responding officers located significant evidence that confirmed a shooting occurred. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting. A thorough canvas was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Assault on an Officer – 2600 block of Rio Linda Boulevard
Saturday, November 30th at 10:36 p.m.
A subject (suspect) was intoxicated and causing problems at a nearby business. Responding officers arrived and the suspect fled on foot. Officers gave chased and caught up to the suspect. As officers attempted to detain him, he was combative. After a brief struggle, the suspect was safely detained and arrested on related charges.
Auto Theft Arrest – Del Paso Boulevard and El Camino Avenue
Monday, December 2nd at 9:47 p.m.
Officers located a stolen vehicle in the area after it traveled through a Police Observation Device. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was safely detained, then arrested for auto theft.
Firearm Arrest – Mahogany Street and Grand Avenue
Tuesday, December 3rd at 2:25 a.m.
A patrol officer observed a vehicle that he knew to be stolen. A traffic stop was initiated in the area. The driver was in possession of a loaded firearm and narcotics (see photo). The driver was safely detained and arrested on related charges.
Burglary of a Business – 3500 block of Del Paso Boulevard
Wednesday, December 4th at 4:07 a.m.
A business was burglarized and multiple suspects fled on foot. Responding officers established a perimeter and located three suspects. All three suspects were safely detained. After completing follow-up investigation, officers learned that the suspects arrived in a stolen vehicle, burglarized the business, and stole merchandise while inside. All three suspects were arrested on related charges.

Wednesday, December 4th at 1:27 p.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting.
Burglary of a Business – 4300 block of Truxel Road
Thursday, December 5th at 4:16 a.m.
Officers responded to a business due to a ringing burglary alarm. Officers determined that the suspect(s) entered the building, then fled the scene. A thorough canvas was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Carjacking – 2600 block of River Plaza Drive
Friday, December 6th at 12:31 a.m.
A victim was carjacked of his vehicle. Multiple suspects robbed the victim, while armed with a firearm. One suspect is known to the victim. Officers completed a thorough canvas and the investigation is ongoing.
Firearm Arrest – Grove Avenue and El Camino Avenue
Friday, December 6th at 2:35 p.m.
Officers initiated a traffic stop in the area. A computer check showed the driver (suspect) to be on probation. Officers completed a probation search and the suspect was in possession of a loaded handgun (see photo). The suspect was arrested on firearm related charges.

Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Responding officers located significant evidence that confirmed a shooting occurred. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting. A thorough canvas was completed and the investigation is ongoing.
Felony Assault Arrest – 1300 block of Dixieanne Avenue
Friday, December 6th at 9:31 p.m.
Regional Transit Officers reported that a subject (suspect) on a train was choking someone (victim). Responding officers safely detained the suspect. The victim had non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a nearby hospital. The suspect was arrested on related charges.
Assault on an Officer – Lindley Drive and Grove Avenue
Friday, December 6th at 11:05 p.m.
A patrol officer made a traffic stop on a DUI driver (suspect). The suspect was uncooperative with the officer. Additional officers responded to assist. Family members of the suspect arrived and confronted the officers. The suspect assaulted an officer and was safely detained after a brief struggle. The suspect was arrested on related charges.
Shooting Investigation – 2000 block of Del Paso Boulevard
Friday, December 6th at 11:25 p.m.
A disturbance between to male subjects escalated and one involved subject (suspect) shot the other subject (victim). The suspect fled the scene after the shooting. The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Officers completed a thorough canvas and the investigation is ongoing.
Firearm Arrest – Grove Avenue and Redwood Avenue
Sunday, December 8th at 1:07 a.m.
Officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle due to the driver (suspect) traveling recklessly. A computer check showed the driver to be on active parole. Officers conducted a parole search and the suspect was in possession of a loaded, stolen handgun with a high-capacity firearm magazine (see photo). The suspect was arrested on firearm charges and parole violation.
Foot Pursuit Arrest – 700 block of Darina Avenue
Sunday, December 8th at 10:53 a.m.
An owner of a property called dispatch to advise that a subject (suspect) was squatting inside an apartment and when confronted, the suspect brandished a firearm and then left in a vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle nearby and initiated a traffic stop. The suspect fled on foot. Officers established a perimeter and the suspect surrendered, then was safely detained and arrested on related charges.
