Shooting Investigation – 600 block of El Camino Avenue
Friday, September 20th at 9:46 p.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation and multiple calls of a shooting. Responding officers located significant evidence that confirmed a shooting occurred. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting. A thorough canvas was completed, and the investigation is ongoing.
Stabbing Investigation – 1900 block of Royal Oaks Drive
Saturday, September 21st at 3:03 p.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a report of a stabbing. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a local hospital. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area, and the investigation is ongoing.
Homicide Investigation – 2400 block of Seamist Drive
Sunday, September 22nd at 2:00 a.m.

Saturday, September 21st at 7:34 p.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Responding officers located significant evidence that confirmed a shooting occurred. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting. A thorough canvas was completed, and the investigation is ongoing.
Auto Theft Arrest – Arden Way and Acoma Street
Sunday, September 22nd at 9:29 a.m.
Officers were in the area cleaning up a homeless camp and located a stolen vehicle. The occupant of the vehicle was safely detained and arrested for auto theft.
Auto Theft Arrest – Del Paso boulevard and El Camino Avenue
Monday, September 23rd at 6:28 p.m.
Officers located a stolen vehicle in the area after it traveled through a Police Observation Device. The occupants were safely detained, and the driver was arrested for auto theft.
Carjacking – 300 block of Chennault Court
Tuesday, September 24th at 1:20 a.m.
A resident observed a group of suspects prowling near her home and went outside to confront them. The group of suspects fled in a vehicle and the victim followed them. The victim caught up to the group and exited her vehicle, then the suspects produced a handgun and stole her vehicle. Officers completed a canvas of the area, and the investigation is ongoing.
Shooting Investigation – 1300 block of Diamond Avenue
Wednesday, September 25th at 1:52 a.m.
Officers responded to the area due to a ShotSpotter activation. Responding officers determined that a residence was shot. There were no reported injuries as a result of the shooting. A thorough canvas was completed. Officers located significant evidence of the shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
Assault on an Officer – 3300 block of Rio Linda Boulevard
Wednesday, September 25th at 9:02 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence due to a report of a subject (suspect) smashing out a window and being uncooperative with fire personnel. The officers arrived and attempted to de-escalate the situation. The suspect assaulted two separate officers. Fortunately, the officers were not seriously injured. After a brief struggle, the suspect was safely detained and arrested.
Vehicle Pursuit – Commerce Circle and Slobe Avenue
Wednesday, September 25th at 7:21 p.m.
Officers located a stolen vehicle in the area. Officers attempted to initiate a vehicle stop and the driver (suspect) fled from officers. A vehicle pursuit was initiated, and the driver eventually pulled over and ran on foot. A perimeter was established and with the assistance of a Police K9, the suspect was safely detained. A computer check showed the suspect to have a felony warrant. The suspect was arrested for vehicle theft, evading, and for the outstanding felony warrant.
Burglary Arrest – 600 block of Turnstone Drive
Thursday, September 26th at 5:23 a.m.
Officers responded to a residence regarding a burglary. Responding officers arrived and safely detained two suspects. A computer check showed one suspect to have a felony warrant and to be prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. This suspect was in possession of ammunition. He was arrested for burglary, conspiracy, and convicted felon in possession of ammunition. The additional suspect was arrested for burglary and conspiracy.
Vehicle Pursuit – El Camino Avenue and Empress Street
Friday, September 27th at 12:16 a.m.
Officers initiated a traffic stop on a motorcycle in the area. The driver (suspect) fled from officers and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspect traveled onto the freeway and due to the suspect driving so recklessly, officers discontinued pursuing the vehicle. Officers from the California Highway Patrol located the vehicle and began pursuing the suspect. Eventually, the suspect stopped in San Joaquin County. The motorcycle had been reported as stolen. The suspect was arrested for evading officers and auto theft.
Vehicle Pursuit – Chief Court and River City Way
Friday, September 27th at 2:15 a.m.
Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area. The driver (suspect) fled from officers and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The suspect crashed near the levee, fled on foot and then entered the water. The suspect eventually complied with officers and was safely detained. The vehicle the suspect was driving had been reported as stolen. The suspect was arrested for evading officers and auto theft.
Robbery – 2400 block of Northgate Boulevard
Friday, September 27th at 3:41 a.m.
A suspect entered a business, while armed with a handgun. The suspect stole money from the register and then fled the scene. Officers completed a thorough canvas of the area, and the investigation is ongoing.
