Firearm Arrest – San Juan Road & Truxel Road

Officers responded to the above location to assist with a vehicle collision. A stolen firearm was located in one of the involved vehicles. The driver was booked on related firearm charges.
Robbery – 3700 block of E Commerce Drive
Friday, September 6th @ 5:38 p.m.
Officers responded to the above location for a report of an armed robbery. Two suspects, one armed with a firearm, robbed the victims of personal property at gunpoint. There were no injuries reported.
Outside Agency assist – 1600 block of Arden Way
Friday, September 6th @ 7:11 p.m.
Officers responded to the area to assist with a motorcycle that located nearby after just being involved in an outside agency pursuit. Officers located the suspect inside the mall and took him into custody without incident.
Shooting investigation – 2900 block of Albatross Way
Saturday, September 7th @ 12:30 p.m.
The victim was driving in the area and heard multiple shots from an unknown location. One round struck his car and no injuries were reported.
Community Engagement – 1800 block of Arden Way

Officers and CSO’s attended a back-to-school event at Kohl’s.
Pursuit – W. El Camino Avenue & Northview Drive
Saturday, September 7th @ 3:32 p.m.
Officers located a stolen vehicle that had been recently scanned by a POD. The driver had multiple passengers inside the vehicle and began to accelerate onto the freeway. A vehicle pursuit ensued northbound on I-5 and was terminated by the District Sergeant.
Pursuit – Natomas Park Drive & Capital Park Drive
Saturday, September 7th @ 3:32 p.m.
The same vehicle returned to the city and was located by officers. The vehicle again fled at a high rate of speed. The pursuit was handed over to CHP. The vehicle crashed in Yolo County and the occupants were arrested without incident. The driver was arrested for related charges.
Stolen Vehicle – 3300 block of High Street
Saturday, September 7th @10:58 p.m.
The above residence was in involved in a house fire a few weeks ago. Today a neighbor called stating someone had stolen a vehicle from the property. The RTIC (Real Time Information Center) assisted officers in located two subjects who were arrested and booked for the theft.
Shooting – 3200 block of Lemitar Way
Sunday, September 7th @ 3:59 p.m.
Multiple callers reported shots fired in the area. Officers responded and located evidence of a shooting and a unoccupied vehicle that had been struck. Approximately 45 minutes later SSO advised there was a walk-in GSW victim at Kaiser Morse. The victims injuries were non-life threatening.
Weapons Call – 2500 block of Millcreek Dr

Officers responded for reports of a male relative holding a gun and threatening other family members. The suspect was arrested for assault, terrorist threats and child endangerment.
Burglary – 3000 block of Academy Way
Sunday, September 8th @ 12:52 p.m.
Officers arrived on scene of a burglary in progress. Responding units established a perimeter with a police K9 and confirmed with the business owner that no one was supposed to be inside. The handler apprehended the suspect with the assistance of his K9 partner.
Pursuit – N Market Boulevard & Northgate Boulevard
Monday, September 9th @ 12:37 a.m.
Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle they observed driving recklessly as a part of a sideshow. The suspect failed to stop and a slow speed pursuit ensued. The suspect eventually pulled over into a parking lot and was taken into custody. The vehicle was towed for 30 days.
Pursuit – W El Camino Avenue & Northgate Boulevard

Officers attempted to stop a vehicle driving recklessly from the area of a sideshow and a pursuit ensued. The four occupants of the vehicle foot bailed a short while later. A perimeter was established but the occupants were not located. The vehicle was towed for 30 days.
Shooting Investigation – 2200 block of Sandcastle Way

The complainant called in stating that shots were fired during the sideshow near West El Camino & Stonecreek Drive. Officers located evidence of a shooting, but did not locate anything or anyone, injured.
Assault – 800 block of Bright Court
Monday, August 9th @ 7:37 a.m.
Reports came in that the same suspect who had threatened his family member with a firearm, had returned. Officers located the suspect and arrested him without incident.
Fatal Collision – Club Center Drive & Banfield Drive
Monday, August 10th @ 9:29 a.m.
A vehicle struck a pedestrian who was fatally injured. The investigation is ongoing.
BIAS Incident – 100 block of Naponee Ct.
Monday, August 10th / 0713 hours
A citizen reported that overnight someone left a severed pig’s head on their front porch. The victim believed they were being targeted due to their ethnicity. The scene was processed and a BIAS crime report was written.
Residential Burglary – 1700 block of Capital Park Drive
Tuesday, August 10th, 4:07 a.m.
The caller advised that a male subject was inside of her home. The subject fled when the victim yelled. A canvas was completed, and CSI processed the scene.
Burglary – 1700 block of Kathleen Avenue
Wednesday, August 11th @ 2:11 a.m.
Officers responded to a silent burglary alarm to a business. Officers made a fast coordinated approach to the location, but the suspects had already fled prior to their arrival.
Weapons Call – 1100 block of El Monte Avenue
Wednesday, August 11th @ 3:57 a.m.
Officers responded to a subject who brandished a firearm towards a citizen after being involved in a collision. Officers responded and safely detained the involved subject. A firearm was recovered, and the suspect was arrested for the related charge.
Arrest – 2600 Block of Rio Linda Boulevard
Wednesday, August 11th @ 11:58 a.m.
Detectives and K9 contacted a subject known to have a felony warrant. The man was safely detained. The subject had a loaded firearm on his person when he was taken into custody. The subject was arrested for his warrant and firearms charge.
Collision into a building – 1800 block of Tribute Road
Wednesday, August 11th @ 7:04 p.m.
Officers responded to a ringing alarm, which was determined to be related to a vehicle collision. CHP had a vehicle leave Business 80 and collide into a closed building at the above location. Fire transported the driver to a hospital for complaint of pain. There were no indications of impairment.
Attempt Burglary – 1300 block of El Monte Avenue
Wednesday, August 11th @ 9:44 p.m.
Officers were hailed regarding a U-Haul trying to ram into a warehouse. The truck had fled upon officers arrival. No entry was made but there was damage to the metal siding.
