Vehicle Pursuit – W. El Camino Avenue & American Avenue
Friday, August 23rd @ 6:11 p.m.
An officer observed a vehicle being driven recklessly that resulted in a pursuit. The pursuit was cancelled. The car was located at an area hospital and male adult driver was arrested for evading.
Assault Investigation – 600 block Garden Highway
Friday, August 23rd @ 6:36 p.m.
A female adult victim was evolved in a dispute with a male adult who stabbed her during the altercation. Officers conducted a thorough canvass and completed an assault investigation.
Traffic Stop – El Camino Avenue & Empress Street
Saturday, August 24th @ 1:17 a.m.
Officers conducted and enforcement stop on a vehicle driving the wrong way. A search of the car revealed a loaded handgun. The passenger was arrested for several firearm charges.
Stolen Vehicle – Connie Drive & Marconi Avenue
Saturday, August 24th @ 3:33 p.m.
Officers responded to the above area for a carjacked vehicle that was scanned by a pod. The vehicle was located and the occupants were detained without incident. The driver was arrested on related charges.
Weapons Call – 5500 block of Jerry Litell Way
Sunday, August 25th @ 1:07 a.m.
Dispatch received a call that an adult male family member was causing a disturbance and armed with a gun. When officers arrived, they were able to safely detain the subject without incident. The firearm was located, and the man was booked for related charges.

Sideshow – Acacia Avenue & Rio Linda Boulevard
Sunday, August 25th @ 10:12 p.m.
Several calls came in regarding a sideshow in the above area with possible shots being fired. Officers arrived in the area and the sideshow participants left. There were no reported injuries or evidence of a shooting.
Pursuit – Rivera Drive & Branch Street
Sunday, August 25th @ 10:41 p.m.
Units observed a vehicle driving recklessly and attempted an enforcement stop. The vehicle failed to yield and led officers on a short slow speed pursuit. The driver was cited for the pursuit.
Felony Assault Arrest – Grove Avenue – El Camino Avenue
Monday, August 26th @ 1:06 a.m.
Officers were patrolling the area when they observed multiple subjects in the roadway. One was holding a large knife and swinging it at the other subjects. The man was aggressive toward officers while armed with a knife and they continued to try and de-escalate the situation. A less lethal impact weapon was used to get the man to drop the knife and comply. The suspect was arrested for multiple charges to include felony assault on the officers and outstanding arrest warrants.
Stolen Vehicle Arrest – 1300 Claire Avenue
Monday, August 26th @ 6:29 a.m.
Officers investigated a report of a stolen truck with roofing material inside. The vehicle was located and recovered. Three subjects were contacted and detained. Ultimately one of the subjects was arrested for a felony warrant and possession of stolen property.
Stolen Vehicle Arrest – Norwood Avenue & Jessie Avenue
Monday, August 26th @ 5:03 p.m.
A Police Observation Device recorded a stolen vehicle at this intersection. A motor unit who was conducting traffic enforcement in the area located the vehicle and the driver was arrested without incident.
Shooting Investigation – 1900 block of Railroad Drive
Monday, August 26th, @ 1020 p.m.
Officers responded to reports of a subject shot. The victim was transported to UCD and is in critical but stable condition.
Hit and Run investigation – 1600 block of Helena Avenue
Monday, August 26th @ 10:31 p.m.
Officers responded to reports of a vehicle that had collided into an unoccupied commercial responded and advised that the building was still structurally sound.
Stolen Vehicle Arrest – Marconi Avenue & Connie Drive
Tuesday, August 26th @ 10:02 p.m.
Officers located a reported stolen vehicle that alerted an area POD. A pursuit ensued. The suspect was eventually detained and booked for the stolen vehicle and felony evasion.
Missing Person – Shadow Tree Drive @ Holly Branch Court
Tuesday, August 26th @ 9:08 p.m.
A 11-year-old juvenile was located by officers and unable to relate to PD where he lives. A RAVE was sent after numerous other attempts were unsuccessful in locating the parents. The MP was ultimately reunited with his parents.
Shooting Investigation – Baumgart Way @ Berthoud Street
Thursday, August 29th @ 9:00 p.m.
Officers responded to reports of a resident hearing two gunshots outside. Officers located evidence of a shooting, and it did not appear as though anything was struck.
Assault – East Levee Road & West El Camino Avenue
Thursday, August 29th @ 8:59 p.m.
Two subjects known to each other were involved in a dispute. One of the involved parties produced a firearm and pointed it at the other person. The suspect fled the area and was not located. An investigation was completed, and detectives were notified.
Robbery – 300 block of El Camino Avenue
Friday, August 30th, @ 6:24 a.m.
Officers responded to a business robbery at gunpoint. The suspect motioned like he had a gun and took cash from the register. A thorough preliminary investigation was completed and detectives were notified.
