Arrest – 1500 block of W El Camino Avenue
Saturday, August 31st @ 7:30 p.m.
Officers observed a known person and confirmed he had an outstanding felony arrest warrant. The subject was safely detained and found to also be in possession of marijuana for sales. The man was arrested for related charges.
Traffic Stop – 2500 block of Erickson Street
Saturday, August 31st @ 10:00 p.m.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and determined the car was a stolen vehicle. The driver was arrested on possession of stolen property charges.
Subject Stop – Rio Linda Boulevard & Lampasas Avenue
Sunday, September 1st @ 12:36 a.m.
An officer made an enforcement stop on a subject for a bicycle violation. The subject gave a false name and was eventually identified to have a felony warrant. The suspect attempted to ride away but was quickly detained with the assistance of other officers. The man also had narcotics in his possession and was booked for related charges.
Traffic Stop – Arden Way & Colfax Street
Sunday, September 1st @ 10:23 p.m.
Officers observed a vehicle making erratic movements and conducted a traffic enforcement stop. A firearm was located in the car and the subject was booked on related charges.
Pursuit – Del Mar Way & Arcade Boulevard
Monday, September 2nd @ 12:51 a.m.
Officers observed the suspect vehicle actively engaging in reckless driving during a sideshow. As the officers went to conduct a traffic enforcement stop, the vehicle took off at a high rate of speed and a short pursuit ensued. The driver was ultimately arrested on related charges and the vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
Assault Investigation – 300 block of Barrette Avenue
Tuesday, September 3rd @ 1:22 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim was stabbed multiple times. Officers summoned medical attention and conducted a thorough canvases. The victim was eventually listed in stable condition.
Swatting – 4500 block of Golden Alder St
Tuesday, September 3rd @ 3:13 p.m.
The caller falsely reported an assault had occurred to cause a large police response. The incident was determined to be unfounded.
Assault – 2000 block of W El Camino Avenue
Tuesday, September 3rd @ 11:26 p.m.
Officers responded to an apartment at the above location regarding a possible fight where one party was armed with a knife. Officers determined the subject was threatening another person with the knife and she was arrested on related charges.
Pursuit – Truxel Road & Pebblewood Drive
Wednesday, September 4th @ 2:39 a.m.
Officers observed a vehicle engage in a traffic violation and conducted an enforcement stop. The drive failed to yield, and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit was canceled when officers lost sight of the vehicle being driven recklessly.
Search Warrant – 3900 block of Palmetto Street
Thursday, September 5th @ 7:00 a.m.
Sac PD assisted an outside agency with the service of a search warrant in the above area. The suspect was arrested at the location without incident.
Stolen Vehicle Arrest – El Camino Avenue & Princeton Street
Thursday, September 5th @ 11:49 p.m.
Officers located a stolen vehicle being driven in the above area. They initiated a traffic stop and the driver was safely taken into custody and booked for related charges.
Outside Agency Assist – Ardenglen Court & Fong Ranch Road
Friday, September 6th @ 2:27 a.m.
An outside agency was involved in a vehicle pursuit and entered into the city. Sac PD assisted and the suspect vehicle drove into a court and was eventually detained. The driver was arrested for pursuit, firearm possession, and assault charges.
