Vehicle Pursuit – Rio Linda Boulevard & Eleanor Avenue

Officers were alerted by a Police Observation Device that a stolen vehicle was in the area. A short pursuit occurred when officers located the car and the driver eventually yielded. He was taken into custody without further incident on related charges.
Warrant Arrest – Land Avenue & Academy Way
Saturday, August 17th @ 12:54 a.m.
Officers attempted to conduct an enforcement stop on a subject riding a bicycle, and the person fled. A police air unit located the subject which aided the ground units in locating the subject. The man was booked for his outstanding warrants.
Burglary Report – 3300 Block of Northgate Boulevard

Officers responded to the above business regarding a burglary alarm. It was determined the suspect broke into the business and took property – a burglary investigation was completed.

Sac PD responded for a report of a burglary to a business. A burglary investigation was completed.
Arrest – Norwood Avenue & Morrison Avenue

Officers stopped a vehicle and determined the front passenger was a subject they knew to have an outstanding warrant. The man was taken into custody without incident.
Warrant Arrest – 100 block of Promenade Circle
Saturday, August 17th @ 10:15 p.m.
Officers responded to the above area regarding a subject known to trespass on the property. Officers eventually located the suspect during their investigation and took him into custody without incident. He was booked for his warrant.
Firearm Arrest – 300 block of Barrette Avenue
Saturday, August 17th @ 6:31 p.m.
Officers responded to a male adult subject who was reportedly armed with a gun. The man fled on foot when officers arrived in the area. Officers were able to safely detain the subject and located a loaded pistol nearby. The subject was booked for related charges.
Shooting Investigation – 1500 block of Frienza Avenue
Saturday, August 17th @ 10:21 p.m.
The victim heard a knock at his front door and then heard gunfire when he refused to open the door. No injuries were reported. Evidence of a shooting was located, and the investigation is ongoing.
Firearm Arrest – 1000 block of Opal Lane
Sunday, August 18th @ 7:47 a.m.
Officers responded to reports of domestic violence incident. One half was ultimately arrested for multiple charges including DUI, firearm, and possession of narcotics.
Shooting Investigation – 1200 block of Acacia Avenue
Sunday, August 18th @ 1:30 p.m.
Witnesses reported hearing sounds of gunfire. Officers arrived and located evidence of a shooting. No injuries were reported, and a thorough canvas was conducted. The investigation is ongoing.
Brandishing – 1400 block of Brewerton Drive
Sunday, August 18th @ 7:23 p.m.
The victim reported a subject known to him brandished a handgun. Officers conducted a thorough investigation and a report was generated.
Vehicle Pursuit – Marysville Boulevard & Grave Avenue
Sunday, August 18th @ 10:28 p.m.
Officers observed a motorcycle driving recklessly and attempted to conduct an enforcement stop. The motorcycle led them on a short vehicle pursuit before pulling over. The driver was detained and arrested for related charges.
Assault Investigation – 200 block of Santiago Avenue
Monday, August 20th @ 12:20 a.m.
Police responded for a subject that had been struck in the head with a blunt object by an acquaintance. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Stabbing Investigation – Del Paso Boulevard & Northgate Boulevard
Monday, August 20th @ 6:37 a.m.
A male adult victim was stabbed in the above area. Officers and fire medics arrived, and the victim was transported to UCD where he is expected to survive. Area roadways were shut down for several hours until the scene could be processed. No arrests have been made.
Shooting Investigation – 3400 block of Fong Ranch Road
Monday August 20th @ 2:30 p.m.
Multiple callers reported the sounds of gunshots. The callers also reported juveniles running from the area. An officer arriving on scene observed two suspects matching a caller’s description. One of the juveniles discarded a handgun as they ran, and both subjects were eventually detained without incident. The two juveniles were arrested, one for related weapons charges and the other for an unrelated felony warrant.
Firearm Arrest – 900 block of North Avenue
Monday, August 20th @ 4:36 p.m.
Info was received of possibly armed subjects in the area. Officers on the ground and a police helicopter responded. The subjects were located and detained without incident. Two subjects within the group were found to be in possession firearms and arrested for related charges.
Shooting Investigation – 1500 block of Arcade Avenue Boulevard
Wednesday, August 21st @ 2:20 p.m.
An adult male shot his neighbor during a dispute. The victim was transported for medical treatment (non-life-threatening injury). The suspect was contacted at the scene and was safely detained. Officers recovered and seized the firearm that was used. The suspect was arrested for related charges.
Vehicle Collision – 800 block of Price Court
Wednesday, August 21st @ 7:34 p.m.
Officers responded to this location regarding a report of a vehicle that collided into a residence. There were no injuries, and the Fire Department determined that the house was structurally sound. A vehicle collision report was generated.
Stolen Vehicle Arrest – Marysville Boulevard & Los Robles Boulevard
Wednesday, August 21st @ 11:42 p.m.
Officers responded to the above area after a stolen vehicle was scanned by a Police Observation Device. The car was located at a nearby gas station and the suspect was arrested without incident.
Firearm Arrest – 5600 block of Highport Drive
Thursday, August 22nd @ 0700 hours
The North Command Violent Crime Reduction team served a search warrant related to a long-term criminal investigation. Four subjects were ultimately arrested for charges related to this incident. Officers seized a large quantity of processed marijuana, psilocybin mushrooms, cash, jewelry and three firearms.
Arrest – 4300 block of Fell St
Friday, August 23rd @ 1:55 p.m.
An officer went to conduct an enforcement stop, and the subject pulled over and ran away on foot. The suspect physically struggled with the officer but was eventually detained. The driver was booked for his active warrant, and other related charges.
