Stolen Vehicle Arrest – West El Camino Avenue & Dockside Court

Officers responded to the area regarding a stolen vehicle that was scanned by a Police Observation Device. The three occupants were safely detained and an arrest for related charges was made.
Assault Arrest – 500 block of Santiago Avenue

A disturbance among known subjects escalated into an assault. The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and the suspect was arrested.
Vehicle Pursuit – Garden Highway & Truxel Road
Saturday, August 10th, @ 1:09 a.m.
An officers observed a motorcycle driving recklessly. The suspect fled from the officer’s signal to stop and the pursuit was eventually cancelled.
Stolen Vehicle Investigation – West El Camino Avenue & Truxel Road
Saturday, August 10th, @ 8:39 a.m.
Officers responded to the above location regarding a POD alert for a stolen vehicle. Officers located the vehicle unoccupied in a nearby parking log. Store surveillance footage assisted in identifying two women who were detained and ultimately arrested for possession of stolen property charges.
Subject Stop – El Camino Avenue & Boxwood Street

Officers detained a subject who fled from them on a bicycle. The subject was found to have narcotics on his person and also arrested for a felony warrant.
Arrest – 2600 block of Ensenada Way
Sunday, August 11th, @ 7:54 a.m.
Officers responded to the area for a subject known to have an outstanding felony warrant. The man was taken into custody without incident.
Vehicle Pursuit – Truxel Road & West El Camino Avenue
Monday, August 12th, @ 12:57 a.m.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation and a vehicle pursuit ensued. The pursuit continued until the officers lost visual of the car.
Vehicle Pursuit – Northgate & Interstate 80

Officers pursued a vehicle that refused to stop. The car eventually pulled over in a parking lot and all three occupants fled. The driver and one passenger were detained. The car was an unreported stolen vehicle and driver was taken to juvenile hall.
Shooting Investigation – 3100 block of Altos Avenue
Tuesday, August 13th, @ 2:45 a.m.
Officers were handling a call for service and heard the sounds of gunfire nearby. They located a subject with two GSW injuries. The subject was treated at an area hospital and the investigation is ongoing.
Assault investigation – Ripley Street & South Avenue
Tuesday August 13th, @ 4:52 p.m.
The caller reported that a person was just stabbed. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment and will survive the injuries. The incident was referred to detectives.
Warrant Arrest – American Avenue & West El Camino Avenue
Wednesday August 14th, @ 12:15 a.m.
Officers located a theft suspect with a felony warrant. Once detained, the man admitted to swallowing narcotics and taking to the hospital to be treated.
Shooting Investigation – Morrison Avenue & Taylor Street
Wednesday, August 14th, @ 3:59 a.m.
Officers initially responded to a Shotspotter activation but did not locate any evidence of a shooting. A short time later, a call came in for a subject nearby who had been shot. Officers responded and located an adult male who had a single non-life threatening GWS to his right knee.
Stolen Vehicle Investigation – 1600 block of Santa Ana Avenue
Wednesday, August 14th, @ 7:28 a.m.
Within minutes, numerous officers arrived in the area for a POD hit and located the vehicle. A felony vehicle stop was initiated, and the driver was detained without incident. The driver was eventually arrested for stolen vehicle related charges.
Collision – Norwood Avenue & Eleanor Avenue
Wednesday, August 14th, @ 1:22 p.m.
An officer observed a vehicle collision and went to assist. One driver was on probation and a loaded handgun was located during a search. Various types of drugs were also located and seized from the vehicle searched. A DUI investigation was conducted and the driver was arrested for related charges.
Suspicious Circumstances – Rio Tierra Avenue / Northstead Drive
Thursday, August 15th, @ 12:20 a.m.
Officers responded to a vehicle collision and determined a victim had been robbed. It was determined the suspect crashed his car as he fled the scene. The man was arrested and the victim’s property was recovered.
Arrest – San Juan Road & Northgate Boulevard
Friday, August 16th, @ 2:00 a.m.
An officer attempted to conduct an enforcement stop on a subject on a bike. The subject fled towards the levee and was apprehended a short time later without incident. The subject was taken to jail for related charges.
Outside Agency Assist – Marconi Avenue & Roseville Road

Officers and Sac PD K9 assisted an outside agency with two suspects who foot bailed from a vehicle after a pursuit. A firearm had been discarded during the pursuit. One suspect was safely located with the use of the Police K9.
Firearm Arrest – 4600 block of Black Rock Road
Friday, August 16th, @ 9:16 a.m.
Officers responded to the above location regarding two subjects seen in a vacant apartment. They were detained without incident and a loaded handgun was located inside the apartment. The suspect struggled with officers and was eventually medically cleared for incarceration.
Violation of Parole – Norwood Avenue & Interstate 80

Officers pulled over a vehicle and the solo occupant was arrested for his active parole violation warrant.
