Sideshow – Raley Boulevard and Vinci Avenue
Friday, July 5th @ 10:53 p.m.
We received a call of a sideshow of approximately fifty vehicles, and hundreds of spectators that showed up at the above intersection. Units arrived to disperse the spectators and vehicles. The group moved to Pinnell Street and North Avenue where units responded and made enforcement stops. The vehicles dispersed and went to the South area of the city before completely disbanding.
Pursuit – Northgate Boulevard and Interstate 80
Friday, July 5th @ 11:51 p.m.
An officer attempted to make an enforcement stop and the vehicle did not pull over. During the vehicle pursuit, a passenger fled on foot and was detained. The vehicle pursuit continued until the car pulled over and several additional occupants fled on foot from the car. An air unit and drone were utilized to locate some of the outstanding subjects. The driver was not able to be located.
Death Investigation – 1600 block of W. El Camino Avenue
Saturday July 6th @ 3:33 pm
Officers and Sacramento Fire Department responded for an unresponsive male infant. CPR was provided by medics and the child was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Detectives were called out to assist in the death investigation which remains active.
Shooting – 1700 block of Nogales St
Sunday July 7th @ 4:38 pm
Multiple callers reported shots being fired from a vehicle. Officers arrived and no one was reported to be injured. Several casings were collected as evidence. This investigation is ongoing.
Firearm Arrest – 100 block of W El Camino Ave
Sunday July 7th @ 7:54 pm
Officers conducted an enforcement stop of a vehicle and discovered the driver was in possession of a loaded 9mm pistol. The subject was subsequently arrested for numerous firearms related charges.

Brandishing – 3000 block of Club Center Drive
Monday July 8th @ 10:35 a.m.
A juvenile pointed what was later determined to be a replica firearm at his stepparent. The juvenile was ultimately contacted and arrested on unrelated charges from a previous incident.
Missing Children after Death Investigation – 3700 block of Didcot Cir

Robbery – Grand Avenue and Cypress Street
Tuesday, July 9th @ 2:30 a.m.
Three unknown suspects reportedly robbed the victim of his backpack at gunpoint. The victim was not injured, and a robbery investigation was completed.
Shooting Investigation – 8400 block of High Street
Tuesday, July 9th @ 2:58 p.m.
The resident of this location found a single bullet lodged into the exterior of their residence. A thorough canvas was completed, and the incident was documented.
Attempt Burglary – 1700 block of Challenge Way
Wednesday, July 10th @ 4:57 a.m.
Officers responded to a burglary alarm to an area business. It was also reported that the suspect was attempting to pry open the door. When officers arrived, they observed a subject matching the suspect description and detained him without incident. Although nothing was taken, the man was eventually identified as the suspect and arrested for burglary related charges.
Shooting Investigation – 4900 block of Westlake Parkway
Wednesday, July 10th @ 10:36 p.m.
The victim was driving when a passenger of an unknown vehicle exited the car and fired a gun at the victim’s vehicle. Immediately after the incident, the suspect vehicle fled out of the area. The victim’s car was struck, but the victim was not injured.
Vehicle Pursuit – Marysville Boulevard & Sonoma Avenue
Wednesday, July 10th @ 10:45 p.m.
An officer observed a motorcycle driving recklessly in the area and attempted to affect an enforcement stop. The motorcycle immediately fled, and a short pursuit ensued but was cancelled due to conditions.
Robbery – 2600 block of Traction Avenue
Thursday, July 11th @ 11:24 a.m.
The victim was robbed of keys at gunpoint by an unknown male subject. Officers conducted a thorough canvas. The victim was not injured during the incident.
Vandalism Arrest – 4700 block of Natomas Boulevard
Thursday, July 11th @ 11:18 a.m.
Officers responded to multiple callers of a male adult subject throwing a heavy object at vehicles and caused damage. The subject was located and safely detained by responding officers. The man was arrested and charged with multiple separate counts of vandalism.
Attempted Robbery – 2500 block of Del Paso Road
Thursday, July 11th @ 3:11 p.m.
A male adult entered a bank and demanded money while stating he had a gun. The employee was protected by ballistic glass and activated the alarm. The suspect exited without receiving any money. No injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.
Sideshow – 4100 block of Northgate Boulevard
Thursday, July 11th @ 7:53 p.m.
A report of a sideshow in the above area was received. The cars were observed driving recklessly by arriving officers. Officers took enforcement action including one vehicle that was towed. Employees of a nearby business were assisted by PD to their vehicles. The group eventually left.
Weapons Call – 1700 block of Arden Way
Friday, July 12th @ 11:12 a.m.
Officer responded to the above location regarding unknown male who reportedly brandished a handgun at the victim who was also driving in his vehicle. Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle parked at a residence and contacted the subject in the car. A search of the vehicle yielded no firearm. A brandishing report was generated.
