President's Message

As a prominent figure in regional business and economic development, Alyssa Lozano, President of Natomas Chamber of Commerce is spearheading a strategy to propel Natomas forward on a trajectory of growth and progress. Her adept navigation of local political landscapes has facilitated crucial relationships with elected officials, affording the chamber a vital seat at the decision-making table to ensure community voices are not only heard but also heeded in the planning and development processes.

With over four decades as a proud resident of Natomas, Alyssa’s profound connection to this vibrant community, combined with her firsthand experience as a small business owner, has fostered a deep appreciation for its distinctiveness and vitality. She perceives Natomas not merely as a residential area but as a rich tapestry woven from diverse stories, dreams, and aspirations, creating a cherished home and an environment where businesses can flourish.

Having raised her family in Natomas, Alyssa has witnessed the pivotal role local businesses play in shaping the community’s fabric. The bustling energy of sports fields and the communal spirit of local events underscore the significance of supporting neighborhood enterprises, particularly those owned and operated by fellow residents, which serve as the lifeblood of the community, enriching lives and fueling collective prosperity.

At the heart of the Natomas Chamber of Commerce lies an unwavering commitment to fostering business growth, community engagement, and development through networking, advocacy, and education initiatives. The Chamber’s core mission and values is to promote businesses, community growth, and development through networking, advocacy, and education. Alyssa and the chamber embark on this journey with anticipation for the opportunities ahead. From informative events like their monthly lunch & learns, The State of Natomas, to celebratory gatherings like the Tree Lighting ceremony, and impactful initiatives such as Toy and Food Drives, their aim is to cultivate an environment where businesses thrive and community bonds deepen.

One notable project led by Alyssa is the chamber’s partnership with the Natomas Unified School District in the Youth Workforce initiative. Collaborating with district leaders, they have implemented programs aimed at equipping young people with essential life skills, including financial literacy, resume building, and mock interviews, resulting in many youths securing jobs with chamber members.

For those eager to join the dynamic network of businesses, Alyssa encourages exploration of the numerous benefits available on the Member Benefits page.

Staying informed and connected is facilitated through subscription to the monthly newsletter at Director@NatomasChamber.org. Alyssa and the Natomas Chamber stand prepared to support endeavors, unified in their dedication to the community’s prosperity.

Alyssa considers it a privilege to serve alongside a diverse and dedicated board, each member sharing a profound love for the community. Together, they have hit the ground running, eager to address membership needs and advance the common good. Alyssa eagerly anticipates the shared moments, forged connections, and positive impact they will make as they venture forward, hand in hand, into a future ripe with promise.
